Anthony J. Cerciello, DDS
Dr. Anthony J. Cerciello earned his DDS degree from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in Long Island. He then completed his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery under the One Brooklyn Health System, serving multiple Brooklyn-based hospitals. In residency, he trained extensively in anesthesia and treated patients with various conditions including jaw deformities, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disease, pathologic entities, severe facial trauma and patients in need of dentoalveolar surgery and dental implant rehabilitation. Dr. Cerciello then obtained his board certification through the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
As a member of the New York Center for Orthognathic and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Cerciello practices a full scope of pediatric and adult oral and maxillofacial surgery with a focus in orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) reconstruction, jaw advancement surgery for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), advanced bone regeneration techniques and dental implant reconstruction. Dr. Cerciello strongly believes in the value of a caring and personalized approach to surgery. He feels this helps ensure a positive experience and outcome for his patients. From the initial consultation throughout the recovery period, his commitment to excellence and a high standard of care is apparent. He operates at Cohen Children’s Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
When Dr. Cerciello is not treating his patients, he and his wife Nalini enjoy exploring the greater New York City area, traveling and spending time with family. Dr. Cerciello’s hobbies include sketching and automotive car racing!
